In the messages screen you will see all of your chats. These will include direct messages with particular students and their parents as well as group chats. Keep in mind that direct teacher-student messages are not active until the student's parents have been onboarded. Tap on a chat to open it.
In the chat, scroll up and down to see the chat history. Type new messages at the bottom of the screen and tap the send button when ready to send. The paperclip icon can be used to include attachments like photos with you message.
Note: Group chats can be set up so that members can reply in the chat or not and so that parents of students in the group can view the chat or not. Those settings can be changed in the group settings. Follow these instructions to set up and edit groups: www.showuponstage.com/articles/create-group
